A Google A Day Keeps Poor Searching Away

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Google searching is increasingly part of our daily lives. Unfortunately, students (and sometimes teachers) often spend time searching in ways that are unproductive and do not lead to the best results. How does Google work? What role does Google searching have in the classroom or education in general? How can you improve your searching skills? Can searching be part of instruction and learning? Participants in this session will explore these questions and more. Learn basics tricks that improve searching results and take away tools and resources that can be applied in the classroom tomorrow.
