ITEC is an ISTE affilate who promotes the use of technology in education by demonstrating to its members, other educators and the public developments in the use of educational technology and how its use supports teaching and learning. The ITEC Conference is October 12-14, 2014. It will be held at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, IA. The conference is open to all educators and administrators in Iowa and beyond.

ZBI: Zombie Based Instruction

OK- something new to wrap your brain around...you are in a foreign capitol city and the emergency broadcast system alerts you to a zombie apocalypse. Will you survive? Using PBL and geo-literacy concepts you may or may not survive. RUN, don't walk- you will be given all the information to create your own survival plan for a unit that doesn't bite.
