ITEC is an ISTE affilate who promotes the use of technology in education by demonstrating to its members, other educators and the public developments in the use of educational technology and how its use supports teaching and learning. The ITEC Conference is October 12-14, 2014. It will be held at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, IA. The conference is open to all educators and administrators in Iowa and beyond.

Tech Integrationist Wannabe. In 33 years of teaching at East Dubuque (IL) High School, educational technology has become my passion. In my classes, I used (and taught) a variety of Web 2.0 tools including Prezi, PowToon, Glogster, LucidPress, Pixlr, GAFE, Weebly, WeVideo, Voki, and many more! I have taught (and continue to personally use) Adobe Creative Suite and MS PowerPoint. I have a BA in English Education from the University of Dubuque and an MA in Teaching and Learning with Technology from Ashford University. As of June 2, 2015, I have retired from Illinois teaching, and I'm now employed as an English teacher in Wisconsin.
